Association of Healthcare Providers (AHPI) organized its fourth conclave at Chennai titled “Future Model of Healthcare Integrated Care” in which Geetanjali Medical College & Hospital was named as the “Best Patient Friendly Hospital”.
The award was received by Geetanjali’s CEO Dr Kishor Pujari and Sr. Manager Quality & Accreditation Sukanta Das in the presence of State Principal Health Secretary Dr. J Radhakrishnan, Dr. Girdhar Gyani, Director General, AHPI and Dr. Prem Nair, President, AHPI. Over 500 dignitaries and experts from the medical fraternity attended the conference.
AHPI stated that GMCH was living up to its aims of delivering safe, accessible, affordable, timely and patient oriented medical care to its patients.
Dr. Pujari said that the selection entailed a detailed facility assessment and inspection of the hospital processes by the representatives of AHPI. After the preliminary evaluation, GMCH was shortlisted on the basis of the documentation auditing and assessment done by the AHPI team.
The award ceremony included 8 categories in which “Best Patient Friendly Hospital” was given to Geetanjali Hospital.
