In a bid to provide economical and convenient transportation facility to citizens, 40 city buses are set to ply on the roads of Udaipur. These buses will be run by Udaipur City Transport Services Ltd. (UCTSL).
The activities to get the process underway will start from October. This decision was taken in a meeting of the Garage Committee of the Corporation and chaired by committee chairman and deputy mayor, Lokesh Dwivedi.
It was decided in the meeting to soon initiate the tendering process for plying of the buses. The buses will be run and managed by UCTSL.
Municipal corporation will determine the routes, fare and other terms.
