An injured male leopard rescued from Devgarh two days back died on Monday during treatment. The 9 year old beast was cremated at Gulab Bagh.
Dr Suresh Jain, the veterinarian treating the leopard, said that the animal was fatally injured and died due to excessive bleeding.
The severe wounds were results of territorial fighting with another leopard, said Dr Jain.
The animal was rushed to Udaipur Veterinary Hospital by forest officials.
