A situation of havoc has occurred at Eklingpura area when an LPG Tanker started leaking gas.
Dy S.P Sobhagya Singh told media that the incidence occurred on today morning at 8.30 when a truck tanker carrying LPG suddenly started leaking after it reached at Eklingpura area. Seeing the sensitivity of the situation SHO of Hiran Magri police station and Pratap Nagar police station rushed to the scene with their teams and had initiated the rescue operation.
The Tanker was heading towards U.P from Gujarat, soon after the incidence, the traffic was diverted to other road and the shops were kept closed for more than 3 hours, later a team of experts from Indane Gas Plant situated at Sakroda were called to tackle the situation and the leakage was subsequently controlled.
