Number of trees planted from Rajiv Gandhi Park to Badi Road in a plantation drive organized by local citizens. Many top administrative officials also took part in the plantation and appreciated the attempt.
Social worker Dalpat Surana informed that lush green trees for shade or fruit bearing trees were planted like Neelam, Kesiyasama, Jakhranda, Paras Peepal, Kanji, Sheesham, Rudraksh, Tikoma, Borsali, Salraji, Jasmine, Mogra etc.
Surana said, “We will plant five thousand plants in next two years to make the periphery of city more beautiful and green”
Additional District Collector O.P Bunkar, Mukesh Jani from UIT, B.R Bhati, Rahul Bhatnagar from Forest Department, Babulal Kothari from NLCP, Dalpat Surana and Kapil Surana with others took part in the plantation drive.
