An incident of theft came to light in a temple located at sector 12 Hiran Magri on 10th Dec. Thieves have stolen cash from the donation box of Someshwar Mahavdev Temple. Shockingly this is the second incident of theft in the temple.
According to Goverdhan Vilas Police, on the night of 9th dec, the thieves entered inside the temple from its main entrance and broke the donation box containing around 7-8 thousand rupees. The mishap was discovered next day by the temple priest who immediately informed others. A report was lodged by the members of temple trust.
Last year, the same temple was targeted by thieves too. The continuous incidents indicating on need of strengthening security measures in temple.
