On the fatal night of 2-April 2017, four people had died while trying to clean a septic tank. One of the deceased was a family member while three others were cleaning agents.
To support the family members of the deceased cleaning agents, Udaipur Mayor Chandra Singh Kothari along with Om Prakash Chittora, President of Health Committee and Jagdish Kodli, President of Rajasthan cleaning labour union presented a cheque of Rs 8.5 Lakh to each family member.
Cheques were presented on behalf of Udaipur Municipal Corporation.
