The young generation of Udaipur had an exuberant time at Deepawali Mela 2015 organized by Nagar Nigam when Bollywood singer Sonu Kakkar started to sing in her melodious voice on Thursday.
The cultural night on Thursday witnessed singer Sonu Kakkar who was welcomed by Mayor Chandra Singh Kothari along with other dignitaries including social worker Veerendra Singh Bapna, Kailash Sharma, Shambhu Jain, Harish Meena, Sonu Ahari, Jagdihsraj Shrimali and Mohammad Ayub etc.
The event started with dance performance by Udaipur’s Priyansh followed by singing of Sonu Kakkar. The audience enjoyed her strong, melodious voice when she sang a number of hit songs from films, Coke Studio, Punjabi films and pop songs.
Organizer Jagdish Menaria informed that apart from the cultural events, Udaipurites are enjoying the experiences where the kids are welcomed with a number of swings; adults are enthused to watch the lights and decoration of the venue.
He further added that on Friday, standup comedian Rajiv Nigam will entertain audience with Laugh-India-Laugh fame Chirag Vadhwani.
