Come tomorrow and the anxiety of the nearly 1.1 million students who have taken the class XIIth board under CBSE will be put to rest as the results are expected to be announced on 24th May. However, media reports suggest that there could be a couple of days delay as well…the result declaration will not go beyond 27 May.
With an increase of 2.8% over last year, the total number of candidates who appeared in the Class XIIth board examinations conducted by the CBSE earlier in March this year, stands at 10,98, 981. The results of Class Xth boards should be expected on 1st June, said a CBSE official to NDTV.
Students need to keep their candidature information (roll number) handy, as the sites will be choc-a-bloc tomorrow as result hunting is expected to result in real time buffering.
The results will be available on www.cbse.nic.in; www.results.nic.in and www.cbseresults.nic.in.
Further on, the CBSE will also provide the class 12th results through a DigiLocker. The details of the DigiLocker will be sent to the students through an SMS on the mobile numbers registered with the board.
Results will also be available on a IVR. One can dial +91-11-24300699 OR +91-11-28127030 and follow instructions to get the results. CBSE will also email the results to the respective schools once the results are declared. Schools can be contacted to get the results.
CBSE, in a statement said that though the boards schedule had taken a hit due to elections in Uttarakhand, Goa, Punjab, Uttar Pradesh and Manipur, the Ministry of HRD had instructed that results be declared in time, so that students who seek admissions into college for higher studies, are not adversely affected for lack of time. The Board has, accordingly, taken IT initiatives for faster result processing to ensure that the results are declared on time. The examinations, which usually start on 1 March, began on 9 March this year due to the elections.
