West Zone Cultural Centre Shilpgram is set to organize a 5 day food festival starting on the 8th of Feb. Muktakaashi rangmanch will be set alive with ghazals and filmy songs of the black & white period in a remarkable way.
On 8th at 1900 hours famous Ghazal singer Pooja Gaitonde and Shashank Shekhar of Mumbai will warm the hearts with ghazals. On 9th evening Pune artists will perfom stage shows based on hindi black & white movie songs. On 11th Feb, Sitarist Ustaad Sujat Hussain Khan will move the strings of your heart through his sitar.
WZCC centre head Furqan Khan revealed that apart from the regional varieties, Punjab, Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, Jammu Kashmir etc. states will be putting up their food stalls with the flavours of Litthi-Chokha, Punjabi Kulche-Bahtoore, Amritsari Naan, Avadhi Chaat, Lucknow’s Doodh-Malai, Vaajwan of Kashmir, Lucknowi Biryani, Reshmi Kebab etc.etc. All this would take place between 12 noon to 10p.m.
Udaipur has seen Food festivals earlier, but this year February 2017, the festival promises to be remarkably different.
