Geetanjali Institute of Technical Studies (GITS) organized a ‘Black Tie Gala 2015’ fresher’s party that was a mix of innovation and fun.
The party started with a drone workshop organized by GITS and Expert Innovation which was conducted by Manila Aeronautical Institute’s Abul Kalam who taught drone designs along with research officer & Dean Dr. Rajiv Mathur. During the workshop, 50 students participated who told about using the drone technology in the field of agriculture.
The title of Best Drone Designer was won by Dhruv Bhatnagar. The evening turned into a fun party for B.Tech first year and second year students. The event started with performance by Ecstasy Band, followed by mono-acting, ramp show, skit, dance and song performances.
The day ended with announcement of the title, Mr. and Ms. which was earned by Rajdeep Singh Chauhan and Archana Jhanwar, respectively.
