Newly opened Pratap Gaurav Kendra (PGK) at Tiger Hills, Udaipur has come out with a diktat banning skimpily clad women from entering the premise. The museum depicting the times and life of Maharana Pratap will not permit entry to women who are clad in skimpy and revealing clothes.

PGK was recently inaugurated by RSS Chief Mohan Bhagwat  in the presence of state chief minister Vasundhara Raje and others on Nov 28, 2016. The centre was however opened for public yesterday (Friday).

Giving more information on the diktat banning skimpily clad women from entering the premise, caretaker Om Prakash said that the centre was considered a national pilgrimage centre (‘Rashtriya Tirtha’) and hence they cannot allow skimpily clad women inside. Om Prakash, a senior RSS leader, questioned as to how could one permit women wearing revealing dresses to offer prayers.
