Udaipur based museum Bagore Ki Haveli has been rated amongst the top 25 museums in Asia by leading travel planning and booking site Trip Advisor.
The list has been topped in India by Leh’s “Hall of Fame”. The other museums to make an appearance in the top 25 include Victoria Memorial Hall (Kolkata), Salar Jung Museum (Hyderabad) and Jaisalmer War Museum (Jaisalmer).
The ranked museums will be honoured by Trip Advisor with the Travellor’s Choice Award.
The Asian list was topped by The Museum of Qin Terra-cotta Warriors and Horse in China.
The global list was topped by Metropolitan Museum of Art in the New York City. It was followed by Art Institute of Chicago, State Hermitage Museum and Winter Palace, Musee d’Orsay, Paris and National Museum of Anthropology, Mexico.
The ranking was arrived at by using an algorithm that incorporated the quantity and quality of reviews/ratings for museums gathered over a 12-month period.
