On the occasion of anniversary of Pt. Deen Dayal Upadhyay, blood donation camps were organized at various colleges of the city including seminars as well. Home Minister Gulab Chand Kataria inaugurated the camps by attending the colleges.
Working Principal of Meera Girls Govt. College informed that the college received 135 registrations out of which 27 donors of the college donated 111 units of blood including photographer Vishnu Paliwal.
The team of Dr. Sanjeev Tank was present at the venue. During the event, All India Yoga Guru Shriyut Shrivardhan addressed the gathering informing about the life journey of Pt. Upadhyay.
On the other hand, two camps were organized by the administration of Mohan Lal Sukhadia University. At Commerce College and Science College 134 and 91 units of blood respectively were donated by the students and staff.
Home Minister reached the colleges and motivated the students to participate in the noble cause. Vice Chancellor Prof I.V Trivedi along with registrar and deans of colleges were present.
