Students of Aravali Technical Studies prepared a man operated pump made on reciprocating technology. The project was executed under the direction of HoD Chetan Jaiswal and assistant professor Chirag Pokharna.
Mechanical Engineering students Karan Doshi, Neel Lapsiwala, Divyesh Mistri and Bhavesh Parmar made the pump with the help of two cylinders, pistons and paddles of bicycle.
Anyone can just transfer the water from ground floor to first or second floor just by paddling. The pump can be used regularly because there is no need of electricity and paddling will also give health benefit of cycling.
