Jagat Pratap Singh of Udaipur brought laurels for the city and country in Speed Roller Skating Championship 2016 held in Hong Kong. Jagat Pratap won third position in 1000 meter race in a specific category.
Manjeet Singh, coach of Shreeram Skating Club informed that teams from six countries including China, India, Indonesia, Hong Kong etc took part in the championship.
Under the direction of Rajendra Singh, team manager, Labdhi Surana, Jagat Pratap Singh and Darshanraj Singh represented Indian team. Jagat won third position in 1000 meters, while Labdhi Surana won fourth position in 125 meter and 250 meter while Darshanraj Singh has won fifth position in 500 meters.
Indian team received trophy and consolation medals. All three children are students of Rockwoods High School, Udaipur.
Alka Sharma, president of Roll Ball Club, Jogendra Singh secretary and Deepak Sharma director of Rockwood School congratulated the achievers. All three students will come to Udaipur on 7th May.
