Chetichand fest started at Jhulelal Bhawan situated at Shaktinagar. Senior social worker Prabhudas Pahuja, committee President Pratap Rai Chugh, Dr. O. P Mahatma and whole sindhi society including the youth organization were present there. A blood donation camp was also organised at Maharana Bhupal hospital where around 65 females and youngsters donated their blood.
Mr. Pahuja appealed everyone to opt for vegetarian food. Dr. Natasha Lalwani, cancer specialist from Udaipur also told about the deadly cancer which also happens due to tobacco. Youth organization distributed fruits and biscuits to Central Jail, Maharana Bhupal hospital, T.B. Hospital, Orphanage, Ashadham, School for blind and sukhdham etc. 8th April will be the main day for the fest where a procession will pass from Shastri Circle, Delhi Gate, Town Hall, Bapu Bazar, Dhan Mandi, Surajpol and then it will reach Sindhi Dharmshala for langar distribution. This time there will also be a female procession by Sindhi Sakheez.
