A 12 yr old girl suffering from severe artery blockage was treated successfully through angioplasty by Cardiologist Dr. Harish Sanadhya, Dr. Ramesh Patel, Dr. C. P. Purohit and medical specialist Dr. Kamlesh Bhatt of Geetanjali hospital. It took three hours complex procedure of angioplasty to get the patient out of danger.
Dr. Ramesh Patel said that Brahmpati Jatav named girl of 12 years was admitted in hospital due to complains in breathing and weakness in legs. Reports told shocking story of her heart working only 25%. It was assumed that her main artery has blockage since her hand’s blood pressure was more compared to the lower body. It is known as variant takayasu arteritis. There was also other vein blockages detected. The procedure took three hours and it is considered to be the first case of complete unblocking of artery in the zone.
